Thank you to Betty Christian for naming this Pitcairn Island family. The photograph was taken on board the New Zealand Shipping Company's Ruahine.

Betty wrote that the photograph shows her "Aunt (Dad's sister) Hilda with her husband Robert Young and their daughter Esma. Sadly Esma died of typhoid fever in early 1938 which would have been not that long after this photo was taken."
